When relationship goes sour, then our mind and ego have more control on us than...us. We try to get rid every object that is associated with the person in question.

We burn all the love letter, dump his/her pictures in to the garbage bin and burn them. We do anything to forget the person.


The first thing a woman would do when she knows that it won't work was to try to pull the ring off her finger and throw away (give back) the ring to the man. Although this might satisfied her emotion, but I think it is silly. I would rather look for diamond buyers and sell the ring. I get rid of him but i get to keep the money, evil isn't ? :)

The jewelery buyers out there are waiting moment like this because the sad and angry woman will sell the diamond at low price. I mean she wants to get rid of the ring isn' t she? So the money was just a bonus.

My point is that, you may be in an unstable condition when that happen, but still, you have to be able to think clearly. Taking action when your mind in clogged with anger and confusion is not good and could result a grave effect.

By thinking clearly, you can see things clearly also and some times, no, make it most of the times you will relies that the problem wasn't that bad. You now also that you still have more important things in your life. You still have dreams, hopes and love from other people that are close to you.

If you're man, it applies also. Don't throw away everything she has given to you. Keep them or sell them. If it is a watch, then look for watch buyers - especially if the watch is a Patek Philippe or a rolex :) I wonder what kind of girlfriend would buy her boyfriend as Patek Philippe?

Well any way, the point is still the same. You can have your head boiling up to 100' C if you want, but you have to cool down your emotion. Take a deep breath and the most important thing is make sure you don't use your hands. Just the head.
